About Us

The Laundry Lounge is family owned by a dynamic brother-sister team, Max Connor and Dina Connor. Please contact them at anytime by calling the store or by snagging one of their business cards at the front counter. Max and Dina are at The Laundry Lounge everyday and love to help out or chat with their customers! In fact, offering unbeatable service to their community is the driving force and purpose behind the conception of The Laundry Lounge.

Dina & Max grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and Dina attended UCSB out of High School. While she loved the beach and the sun, she missed the down to earth northern California vibe of her home town. While visiting a friend in college, she fell love with Davis and in 2001 she transferred to UCD. She's been here ever since! Dina is excited to own a small business in Davis, a city that shares her values of sustainability, environmental awareness, small community propriety and love of life!

Max worked for the service industry in both Davis and Woodland for many years. While working for OSH, he was voted Employee of the Year in 2007! Due largely to his outstanding work ethic and warm compassionate nature. His love of people and excellent attention to customer needs is a driving force between The Laundry Lounge's belief that "Our Customer is Always Right."
